My twins graduated from Angels

October 23, 2019 by ray

The school is very close to our home. They are open from 7 am to 6 pm. They provide healthy meals for kids. My twins graduated from Angels and started dual immersion Kindergarten program in Fremont Elementary School. They learned to speak Spanish now. They still like to go back to Angels. The teachers in after school program at Fremont are impressed with my kids math and reading abilities.

This place is not for everyone

September 3, 2019 by ray

This place is not for everyone. Don’t feel they are truly a “Montessori” school as they don’t seem to really practice the Montessori method. Very disappointed.

Oneonta is the best!

Oneonta Montessori School is the best!!  This school was our son’s second home from 1st through 6th grade, and he absolutely flourished there!  The director, Ms. Fiona, and all of the teachers were very nurturing towards the children and responsive to any parent concerns.  The kids were not only provided with a safe and fun-filled environment (creating beautiful artworks, adventurous field-trips, end-of-year sports day and talent show, etc.), but were also challenged academically with thought-provoking books to read and analyze, eye-opening science and cultural geography research projects, accelerated mathematics, etc.  Oneonta Montessori engaged the kids in a yearly Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Poetry Contest, and Math Whiz Competition.  They also taught the kids the importance of giving back by having them participate in the Spark of Love (giving Christmas presents to needy children) and Pennies for Patients (raising money for leukemia patients).  This school provided the children with many opportunities to explore their unique talents and consistently encouraged them with a “yes-you-can” attitude.  Our son loved this school!  He was more than well prepared to enter junior high school.  If you want a great academic program and a well-rounded education for you child, I highly recommend Oneonta Montessori School!

Proud to be part of the OMS family

I had both of my children attended OMS since 2.5 years old. My oldest just graduated from 6th grade. We loved this school so much. The teachers are awesome and patience with the kids. The Montessori learning style gives the children a strong foundation in academic and personal grow.  The before and after school day care provides activities and a safe environment.  I am so proud to be part of the OMS family.

Best Montessori in the area

April 30, 2019 by ray

Sammy W.

This has to be hands down the best Montessori school in the neighboring areas(San Marino, South Pasadena, Alhambra, and etc.). Before we decided to send our kids here, we went to check out all the Montessori schools within the range, and loved this one right off bat(facility, proficiency, long history, kind, loving teachers, and so on). We’ve been going to this school for over 2 years now and still are loving it. My kids learned so much on everything, physically and academically since day 1. Every parent that I’ve met who sent his/her kids here had made the same comment I’ve made here, if not better.

Great communication between teachers and parents

March 29, 2019 by ray

My twin boys are in the preschool here. All the staff are very kind and friendly. My boys are well behaved and I noted they improved significantly in their speech and expression since they got into the school. Staff are also very supportive when there was family issue in my household and they really care about the development and the emotion of my kids during family crisis. There is constant communication between teachers and parents which I like.
