Great school for my 2 boys

Two of my boys graduated from this school and my youngest is still there. As one who loves technology, I love the fact that this school is integrating the latest in technology into their curiculum. They have Chromebooks in the computer lab and I am told that the elementary school will use Chromebooks to access cutting edge online curriculum in the coming school year.

The teachers are very warm and my kids enjoy the field trips. As a parent, I enjoy the opportunity that this school offers to develop leadership skills, public speaking, science experiments, poetry contests, and so forth.

Oneonta is a great school. My children have been going there for the past three years. It truly is like dropping them off with family. All of the teachers are very friendly and they will not hesitate to give feedback and talk to you about your child’s specific needs. My older child is in Miss Courtney’s kindergarten classroom and has come so far from where she started. Miss Courtney has made every effort to answer all of my e-mails promptly, answer any questions I have had throughout the school year, and has helped my child gain independence while challenging her to do the work we all know she is capable of doing. I would most definitely recommend this school.

My eldest son attended pre-school and kindergarten at Angels Montessori , while my youngest still attends the school. If you are looking for a nurturing environment, as well as an excellent curriculum, Angels is the school for you. Angels is a hands-on learning environment. They learn by concepts, not just instruction, which is great! The children become independent and critical thinkers. By the time they have completed Kindergarten, they are prepared for 1st, and even 2nd grade. They are reading at an excelled level and are already understanding multiplication. And the children love what they learn. My sons are so proud of what they accomplish in school. The faculty is warm, helpful and always keep you informed on how your child is doing. Always an open-door policy 🙂 Angels Montessori creates a strong foundation for the love of learning and social skills necessary for the next level of education. My son, who is now in 2nd grade, received outstanding marks in all of his classes last year due to how well Angels prepared him. Angels has become like family to us! Can’t say enough good things about the school and the Montessori learning / teaching method. Hands down, the best!

I have two girls that attend Angels. They love the teachers and activities. It is amazing how quickly my children have adjusted in every class they have attended since the age of 2. You can tell that the staff love what they are doing and build strong relationships with each of the children, working thru trials and giving praise. It is a testament to the staff and structure how much my children love it there. Not only do they have fun, they are learning so much! My daughters love to learn and can’t wait to do more work. They enjoy math, reading, writing, and are gaining such great social skills. It is a great basis for a complete life learning experience! I have and will continue to recommend Angels!

I love this school. There are so many great things to say about this school and not enough space to write it. The teachers are very caring and helpful. If you have any questions the staff is always there help. The children are very caring and nice. I love that all the children are taught to be independent and excel in every way. This is a great place for all kids to attend. Oneonta Montessori Rocks!
 

Raising the bar

My daughter has been reading since 4 years of age. She is now 5 and can name most presidents, all states, all continents, all flags, land formation, planets and so much more. In math, she is at a 1st grade level. I can go on for pages on the excellent curriculum and education this school provides. The faculty is extraordinary, they become your family. They are always happy and SO INVOLVED WITH THE CHILDREN. I have made a habit of going to them for life advice and so much more, they are those kind of people. I recommend this school a million times. They will raise the bar on what to expect for your child’s education.
